Dry Bulk Chartering & Shipbroking

Five decades moving the world’s raw materials.

Our Heritage

Fifty years between the mill and the sea

Yıldırımoğlu began in 1976 as a steel trading house in İzmir, buying and selling the raw material that built Turkey’s industrial coast. As the business grew, we moved into logistics — putting our own trucks and, later, our own chartering desk behind every cargo we traded.

Our proximity to Aliağa, home to one of the world’s largest ship recycling clusters, opened a door most chartering houses never find: direct relationships with owners, yards and cargo interests that led us into project and breakbulk shipments. From there, the step into dry bulk — cement, gypsum, bauxite, iron ore — was a natural one.

Still independent. Still broker-led. Still in Aliağa.
